Grains AGROTRADE group was founded in 1998 under the name "Eastern-Ukrainian agro-industrial company". The main areas of economic activity in the first phase of development was the provision of agricultural enterprises and sugar factories, fuel, lubricants, trade of grain and sugar. Acquisition of procurement enterprises (elevators) forced the management to attract high professionals to create their own production base, construction and renovation of new facilities, organization of procurement of commercial products. In 2002-2005 the company took over new enterprises, and has taken a prominent position in domestic and foreign wholesale markets of grain and oilseeds. In 2006 AGROTRADE management the beginning of a new direction of activity – crop production. In parallel with the increase of land Bank already in 2008, was given the task of providing agricultural enterprises of AGROTRADE Group seeds of its own production – the company was established several seed production farms. Today AGROTRADE Group is a vertically integrated holding with a closed agricultural production cycle (production, processing, storage and trade of agricultural products). The strategy of vertical integration and diversification in new segments of the agricultural market helps to stabilize the company, minimize reliance on market conditions. Part of AGROTRADE Group includes 16 agricultural enterprises, 12 grain elevators and grain reception enterprises with a total storage capacity of 530 thousand tons. Holding handles 65 thousand hectares of agricultural land in Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions. Agrotrade group is a leading seed producer in Ukraine. Seed farms of AGROTRADE Group are located in Sumy and Kharkiv regions. Agricultural license originators produce quality seeds of domestic and foreign selection. On the basis of elite seed farm was built a modern seed plant is equipped with facilities of the company "Cimbria" – world leader in grain processing technologies.Now AGROTRADE is among TOP 10 Ukrainian grain traders and holds 3% of the export grain market.
